As a Queen City Native, Libba Moore is eager to bring Charlotte together.

THE MISSION IS TWO-FOLD. 

Charlotte Thrives promotes, organizes, and facilitates events that foster connection and transformation within the Charlotte community.  Using nature and the arts as modalities to bring neighbors together, we host events designed to create a sense of belonging, joy, and wonder. Ongoing events include storytelling workshops, community dance classes, documentary screenings, and art immersion hikes in Mecklenburg County.

We also empower organizations, non-profits, community champions and artists by documenting their unique stories. Through the art of film, Our goal is to shine the spotlight on folks in our community that are prioritizing people over profit and creating community-based models that prioritize sustainability, equity, and inclusion. Be on the lookout for screenings showcasing documentary shorts this year.
